Alex Urvina is the owner of Just OM Yoga Studio (JOYS), and she believes that “Yoga has the power to change, heal and transform,” and this is exactly how a fortuitous yoga practice in a remote studio in her hometown of Caracas in 2002, forever changed Alex’s life journey. Since then, Alex has been sharing the life-changing power of yoga with people from all walks of life.
In February 2014, she seized the moment and opened up Just OM Yoga Studio (JOYS) in South Miami. Through JOYS she offers an all-inclusive setting with highly qualified teachers, providing kind and personalized care to help others reach their physical, emotional and spiritual goals with a variety of classes for all experience levels. In April 2016, new opportunities started since she moved three blocks away with the whole JOYS Family, to a larger space in the heart of South Miami keeping the same holistic, warm and positive environment but now with a healing room, retail space and state of art surround sound system to give you the best experience before, during, and after your yoga practice.
